About the Jewellery

Is your jewellery handmade?

Yes - every piece is handmade by me in my Melbourne studio. From mixing colours and sculpting details to sanding, finishing, and packaging, each design is created slowly and thoughtfully in small batches.

What materials do you use?

I use a carefully chosen mix of:

  • High-quality polymer clay
  • Artist-grade resin
  • Hypoallergenic posts, hooks, and chains
  • Lightweight pigments, glitters, and inclusions

All materials are selected for comfort, durability, and a beautiful finish.

Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?

Yes - all metal components used in earrings and necklaces are hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin.

Is your jewellery heavy?

Not at all. My pieces are designed to feel light and comfortable, even in statement styles - perfect for all-day wear.

Is the jewellery durable?

Yes, but like all handmade jewellery, it deserves gentle care. Avoid bending, dropping, or placing under pressure, and store safely when not in use.



Product Care

How should I care for my jewellery?

To keep your pieces looking their best, avoid water, perfumes, lotions, and extreme heat. Store in a cool, dry place and handle with care.

Can the jewellery get wet?

A small splash won’t harm it, but it’s best to remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, or sleeping.

How do I clean my jewellery?

Use a soft cloth or makeup wipe to gently remove makeup or oils.

For resin pieces, a microfibre cloth helps restore shine.

Shipping & Orders

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is $9.95 Australia-wide per order via Australia Post.

Express shipping is available for $12.95 per order Australia-wide.

Enjoy free standard shipping when you spend over $55.

How long will my order take to ship?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, plus delivery time chosen at checkout.

Can I track my order?

Yes - tracking is included with every parcel.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, I ship within Australia only.

Returns & Exchanges

Do you accept returns?

For hygiene reasons, I’m unable to accept returns on jewellery worn against the skin unless they arrive faulty or damaged.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact me within 14 days of delivery with photos so I can arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.

Packaging & Gifts

Is your jewellery gift-ready?

Yes - every piece is thoughtfully packaged and ready to gift (even if it's a gift to yourself).

Katie Tilson Signature pieces arrive beautifully presented in a keepsake box with soft velvet insert.

Katie Tilson Play pieces are presented on branded card and carefully wrapped for safe delivery.

Care instructions are included with every order.

Can I add a gift message?

Of course - add your message at checkout and I’ll include a handwritten note.
